GOSA-fit Description

GOSA-fit is a complex application that will help you solve global optimization problems. The application can solve anything from linear regressions with one variable to nonlinear fittings with several independent variables. GOSA-fit is based on stochastic algorithms, using simulated annealing to find the global minimum of a multivariate function. Consequently, no starting points are necessary, which considerably simplifies the procedure. Main features: No restriction on number of dimensions (several curves may be analyzed simultaneously) No initial values required: GOSA-fit finds a global minimum without any hypothesis More than 300 equations available in the buit-in library with descriptions and examples Possibility to compare fits obtained with concurrent equations Calibration curves available Fit data to equations without any limits in the number of dimensions, with no initial values Compare fits obtained with various equations and find the best model Find the best polynomial to describe data (maximum number of degrees of freedom) Use built in equation (more than 200 equations are available) Use specific equations for specialized domains such as enzymology, pharmacology...
