Flash Player Pro Description

Flash Player Pro is an SWF viewer that you can use to either watch Flash videos already saved in your computer, or download and watch Flash files from any of the many Internet video sites. You can copy and paste a URL and the program will grab it and play it for you. The program also comes with some useful extra functionality, such as an SWF to EXE converter, or a tool to create Flash screensavers from your video collection. Surprisingly for a “Flash video player”, this application cannot open any FLV file, restricting the formats supported to just one – SWF. This may be a handicap when downloading many of the Flash videos available for free in the Internet, especially from sites like YouTube. However, it works wonderfully with any SWF file that you may have stored in your system, playing any video in this format even in full-screen mode. While you are at it, you can easily make BMP screenshots of any of your favorite scenes, and store them for future use. Flash Player Pro includes two utilities which you do not usually find in regular Flash players – an SWF to EXE converter, and a screensaver maker. The first of these utilities will help you distribute your Flash movies to almost anybody, as the EXE format will wipe out any playback problems that may arise with users with no Flash players installed in their systems. As for the second functionality, it is a quick and easy way of creating your own screensavers out of the latest video you downloaded from the Internet!
