These are then quickly and effectively overwritten (scrambled), randomly named and deleted (jettisoned). You can also let it rename and remove the directories if you like. File and Directory – Scramble and Jettison also offers an option to pause after scrambling and renaming, but prior to deleting a file, so you can view the changes, and feel confident that the result has absolutely nothing in common with the original file.
