EMCO Acrobat Reader Deploy 6.x is an application that allows you to check for and install Acrobat Reader on any machine on your LAN. You need to create one install script for W2K/XP/2003 operating systems and one for NT4 operating systems by pointing EMCO Acrobat Reader Installer 5.1 at an example machine that already has Reader installed. EMCO Acrobat Reader Deploy 6.x has the following functionality: ￭ Scan your network for machines (Scanning a LAN) ￭ Save LAN information in a database (Saving LAN data) ￭ Creating an install script for each required Windows operating system (Creating an install script) ￭ Install Acrobat Reader 6.x automatically on any machines on your LAN (Starting the installation) Requirements: ￭ Local or Domain Administrator privilege to the remote computer Limitations: ￭ 15 days trial
