EASIS Drive Check Description

EASIS Drive Check is a simple-to-use Windows application that integrates two modules for finding out what your hard disk packs under the hood: S.M.A.R.T. and Sector tests. It runs scans automatically and displays valuable information for printing.Hassle-free installation and classic UISetting up the program takes minimal time and effort, since the setup is standard. In the interface department the tool does not stand out. However, given its technical nature, the regular window with the basic structure is sufficient for testing hard disk capabilities. After selecting the test type between the two previously mentioned options, you can select the hard drive, and sit back and relax while EASIS Drive Check finishes the scanning procedure. View scan results and print reportsS.M.A.R.T. results show the status, current, worst and raw value, along with the threshold for each attribute, such as power on hours and cycle count, current pending sector, off track errors, temperature, seek time performance and error rate, and spin retry count, among many others. This report can be printed. Depending on the hard disk's complexity, a sector test may take a while to finish, during which you can view the start and end sector, sector read errors, along with the elapsed and remaining time. Set up email notificationsIf email settings are configured when it comes to the sender, receiver, SMTP host and account credential, you can ask EASIS Drive Check to automatically send the report when it finishes scanning. Performance and conclusionSurprisingly enough, EASIS Drive Check does not put a strain on computer performance while evaluating the hard disk. It uses a pretty low amount of CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, since the tool did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Although it is not particularly resourceful, EASIS Drive Check delivers some valuable information when it comes to the hard disk health status, and it does not require extensive skills to work with it.
