Dual Microphone Array Description

Microphone array solution (MAS) of speech enhancement can be used for reduction of external hindrances and ambient noises in speech source signal. The technique uses dual microphones array configurations in its simplest form. By using acoustical beam-forming techniques, the microphone array can "focus" on the speaker's position. By knowing the speaker's position, output from individual microphone can be combined in such a way as to add the separate signal contributions while canceling the noise contributions.
