Dicom Explorer is a handy tool that can help you to view both all the tags/attributes inside a DICOM file (including ACR nema format) and images. It is a compact application with an easy to use interface that includes all the basic features for a DICOM viewer. Once a file is loaded, you can either read the analysis report that gives a concise summary of the file, or look through the various properties of each tag, which shows the details of the file. In addition, you can see the image(s) inside. Some image processing methods are also provided. Main features: It supports both standard and nonstandard DICOM v3.0 files. It analyses the file thoroughly, lists all the items inside and gives a short summary about it. It supports various transfer syntaxes and nearly all the common encoding methods, including RLE, JPEG and JPEG-LS. Now it only supports the files containing just one image. Next versions will support multiframe files.
