DH_CVto(N)RPN Description
The DH_CVto(N)RPN module sends MIDI RPN or NRPN messages in response to control voltage inputs. Inputs: Gate - A change from 0 to positive will send one message using the current Channel, Parameter# and Value settings. If the Gate is kept positive, the module will output messages for every change in Channel, Parameter#, or Value. Parameter# CV - range is 0 - 10 volts; 0 volts = RPN or NRPN 0, 10 volts = RPN or NRPN 16383. Download Parameter# - List entry for RPN or NRPN 0 - 16383. Value CV - range is 0 - 10 volts; 0 volts = value of 0, 10 volts = value of 16383. Channel - the MIDI channel of the output message RPN/NRPN - Selects between Registered (RPN) and Non-Registered (NRPN) Parameter Numbers. Outputs: MIDI Out - Output stream of RPN or NRPN message groups Parameters: (right-click Properties) Parameter# Select Mode - selects between Parameter# CV and Parameter# (list entry) input pins Bit Depth - RPNs and NRPNs permit values with up to 14-bit resolution, but generating RPNs or NRPNs at a resolution that fine may overload a host by creating an excessive number of MIDI messages. This parameter lets you choose a resolution of 7 - 14 bits. Use the lowest number that gives smooth operation in your application. Notes: The non-selected parameter# input is ignored.
