ComPort/IP Utilities is a powerful yet easy-to-use software package allowing for remote access to serial port Equipment and logging of data received from remote COM-ports. With ComPort/IP Utilities working with COM-port (RS232) and TCP/IP data is easy as can be. ComPort/IP Utilities allows for transferring data from COM-ports of a local computer to COM-ports of remote computer(s) using TCP/IP networks as well as for logging data received to a disk file on either local or remote computer. Features * RS232 to TCP/IP converter allows for remote access to any COM-port equipments using Internet, LAN or any other TCP/IP connection; * Capability to save data received from local and remote serial port(s) into a disk file on either remote or local computer; * Capability to save data received from TCP/IP port into a disk file on either remote or local computer; * Capability to transfer data received from serial ports to other serial ports both on remote and local computers; * Allows any number of users access any serial port simultaneously; * Allows multiple users log the data to a disk file on either local or remote computer simultaneously; * Capability to password-protect connections to remote serial ports.
