If Windows customization is one of your main concerns these days, you may want to have a look at Changer XP, a very easy to use application supposed to lend you a hand in this regard. The program has been developed to help you change the wallpaper, the screensaver, the boot screen or the Internet Explorer skin at a user-defined interval, with a very simple interface to interact with its users. The clean look lets you choose which area to tweak, be it boot screen, wallpaper, IE skin or screensavers, each of these coming with multiple configuration settings. Let’s take wallpapers for instance. Changer XP can play the role of a wallpaper changer too, so just input the images you wish to use as desktop backgrounds and define the interval for auto changes. Plus, you can define sequence and position, with a thumbnail also available to let you see the selected pictures. What’s more, Changer XP comprises hotkey support to easily change the wallpapers or the IE skins just by pressing a key shortcut. The application supports the common image formats out there, including JPG, BMP, TGA, GIF, PNG, TIF, TGA and EMF. It works smoothly on all Windows versions and, although it comes with a so-called agent that permanently stays in the System Tray, it doesn’t affect the overall performance of your computer. Overall, Changer XP is clearly a handy application, although it could comprise a lot more wallpaper configuration options. It does its job however and can be safely used by all types of users.
