COMODO Unite (formerly COMODO EasyVPN) Description

Comodo Unite, formerly known as ComodoEasyVPN, allows its users to easily create secure and encrypted VPNs (virtual private networks) between groups of computers. This way, they are able to talk and share files with people from all over the globe in a secure manner. A virtual private network basically extends a private network across a public network, such as the Internet. This is all possible by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated connections, encryption or a combination of the two. The interface of the program is quite simple and easy to use. After a generic Log In window, you are presented with a new and simple window. You see a Menu Bar that contains all the options you might need at a certain point like adding new contacts, creating groups or networks and so on. Furthermore, you are able to see your status and change it (Available, Away, Busy, Offline or Sign Out). The biggest part of the main screen is occupied by the Contacts and Network tabs. Here, you are able to see the people that are logged in to the same VPN as you, and the network(s) available to you. With minimum requirements, you are able to benefit from a lot of features such as being able to create an unlimited number of networks through which you can communicate with family and friends, and due to the nature of the VPNs, you can be sure that file sharing is done in a secure fashion. Furthermore, you should know that you can access your home computer from anywhere with this app. All in all, Comodo Unite can be a really useful tool, which allows you to talk and share files with several people in a secure fashion.
