Borders Plus will provide users with a plugin to help you quickly add a variety of framing effects to your pictures. The filter includes four different styles to make your image stand out. With Box Rules you can place a simple single or double box rule to your image with the option to add a texture to the outer frame. There is also the option to create just the frame with a clear image area on an alpha channel layer. The Drop Shadow filter allows you to apply a box rule and fully adjustable shadow to the image, either down and to the left or right. The centre of the image will move to the corresponding amount, left or right. Further options include transparent (alpha channel) image area and background area to allow the image with drop shadow to be applied over a texture, different image etc. The colour of the background can also be adjusted to match a page design or overall background area. The Freehand filter will apply an uneven hand-drawn style box rule to the image. Options include transparent (alpha channel) image area or background area. For something a little different the Lil n Large filter applies a reduced version of your image over an enlarged version. A central shadow highlights and 'lifts' the smaller image. The brightness and saturation of the background image can also be adjusted. As you can save and load your favourite settings for each individual filter this plugin will prove useful time after time for many home or work projects.
