Blue Cat's Digital Peak Meter is a tool to look at the level of a signal by a period of analysis. The app measures the peak levels for a given signal and can help with this problem. Armed with this information, you can record this as an automation curve. Audio signals will clip when they exceed the levels that musical equipment are capable of accepting (meaning they cannot be heard). Adjust the levels to avoid putting out audio or video content with an audio component that has signal levels that exceed acceptable levels.
