Audio Record Edit Toolbox 2008 Description

Editor's review: Audio Record Edit Toolbox helps you transfer tapes, LPs, live performances, Internet radio, TV, DVD, or any other sound source to your hard drive. The Editor allows you to perform various operations with audio data. Pros: Audio Record Edit Toolbox helps to record and transfer contents of tapes, LPs, live performances, Internet radio, TV, DVD, or any other sound source to the hard drive. Once thatÂ’s done there are several back up and other processes that can protect the recordings without further deterioration for a long time. Recording is simple and consists of setting the volume, connect sound source and the recording quality. The integrated editor provides the main value addition to the offering. What this lets you do are various operations with audio data such as displaying a waveform image of an audio file, filtering, applying various audio effects and so on. It includes a click and crackle filter for cleaning vinyl records, a noise filter for cassette-tape recordings, and an equalizer to enhance the sound quality of all recordings. Visual edit of audio files (Cut, Copy, Delete, Paste, Paste From File, Mix, Mix From File and Insert or Delete noise or silence in an audio file) is made possible by the graphic format of the editor. Whole range of effects including Amplify, Delay, Equalizer, Fade, Flanger, Invert, Normalize, Reverse, Multi Tap Delay, Silence, Stretch, Vibrato, Echo, Chorus can help experiment with audio tracks. The text to speech module adds interesting possibilities to experimenting with audio. A range of formats including MPEG (MP3, MP2), WAV, Windows Media Audio, Ogg Vorbis, Audio Tracks and Dialogic VOX are supported. Conversion between any of these formats are possible with the tool box. Ripping tracks from an existing CD collection or recording of tracks from the collection onto disks are equally easy and a CD burner is built in for the purpose. Cons: Nothing adverse noticed. Overall the application is a 4 starred one without a doubt. Publisher's description:
