Apollo CD & DVD Label Maker is a software application designed to help you create CD and DVD labels. The user interface may seem a bit crowded at a first glance, but this is only because the program comes packed with several editing tools and preset layouts. A label can be created by customizing the images for the disk, front, inside or back sides. What’s more, you can choose from different art clips, insert background images, and set background color. The application works with the following file formats: JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG, MNG, TIFF, ICO, TGA, PCX and WMF. Apollo CD & DVD Label Maker gives users the possibility to insert rectangles, ellipses, diamond-shaped objects, and text messages as well. You can cut, copy, delete or paste the objects, adjust their position, zoom in or out of the working environment, as well as pick the print layout. Furthermore, you can import track information by copying the metadata (artist, title, play time) from audio files (MP3, MP4, WAV, PLS), inserting the information manually, or reading the data from M3U playlists or audio CDs by using the CDDB (Compact Disc Database) method to search for song metadata on the Internet. The generated covers can be printed or exported to JPG by specifying the file name and saving directory.
