Ap PDF Split-Merge is a program with a pretty suggestive name - it allows you to cut and join PDF documents. The tool can be easily used by individuals of any experience level. The interface of the application is plain and easy to work with. PDF files can be imported into the list by using the file browser or treeview only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. In the queue you can check out the source path, number of pages, split and merge parameters, destination folder and output base of each PDF document. So, all you have to do is specify the output destination, in order to proceed with the trimming or joining task. So, the program allows you split files into a specific number of pages, as well as merge only particular ones. In addition, you can enable Ap PDF Split-Merge to automatically open files after the task and to display a log file. But you can also edit metadata (e.g. title, subject, author) and save the current profile. The PDF processing tool quickly finishes a task while using a low-to-moderate amount of system resources. It supports several keyboard shortcuts, preserves the original document quality and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. You can also check out a well-written help file with snapshots. On the other hand, the software's response time is quite poor and the interface is outdated.
