Agree Free DVD Ripper Platinum is an application with a title that pretty much sums up its functionality - it allows you to convert DVDs to video files of multiple formats, including AVI, WMV and VOB. It can be easily handled by all user levels. The interface of the program consists on a standard window in which you can import a DVD by using the treeview or file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing). In the list you can check out the title and time of each title of the DVD. Once you establish the output directory and file type, you can proceed with the conversion task. Furthermore, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player, select the audio language, as well as enable Agree Free DVD Ripper Platinum to display the destination folder or to automatically shut down the computer after task completion. The DVD conversion software requires a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality in the output videos. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. On the other hand, you cannot customize audio and video properties in the unregistered version (e.g. size, frame rate, sample frequency rate).
