APNG Anime Maker is a very lightweight tool design to help you create APNG files or Animated Portable Network Graphics. They are similar to the well known GIF format and support 24 bit images, with an 8 bit transparency which is not possible with GIFs. APNG Anime Maker displays a user-friendly interface which makes it very easy to use. All that is needed in order to create the animations is provided in the main window of the application. The animations are generated using a given number of PNG images from your computer. You can add them from the main window using the Windows explorer becuse drag and drop actions are not supported. You can choose none, and no disposal is applied to a finished frame prior to rendering the next one or you can choose the the previous one and the output buffer for the frame’s region is shown to the previous content. Even though these files are relatively small in size, the application enables you to further optimize the amount of space that they take up. You get to toggle a ‘Lossy’ option for more compression, as well as a ‘Tolerance’ one that offers a balance between size and quality.
