2-Alt Desktop search Description

This program is a text indexer (desktop search software), created to store and quickly find documents and files by using the words contained in the files as key search. Basically, it works as a small local search engine with two functions: -- Indexing of text (alphanumeric characters) contained in the files according to changeable filters; -- Quick finding the indexed text. Furthermore, it has the following utilities which are supposed to be particularly appropriate for people who uses computers for work (e.g. students): -- Copy of updated version of folders and files (by controlling the date of last change); -- Diary, notes and personal dictionary; -- Search from other applications via "Copy"; -- Calculator and graph function from a command line; -- Cuttings graphic images and screen; -- Reading (in English) of the selected text. -- Indexing and archiving of CD (multi-archive version only). This version allows the user to create 10 archives. ---------------------- Il programma e\' un indicizzatore di testo (desktop search software). Si comporta in pratica come un piccolo motore di ricerca locale e svolge due funzioni fondamentali: - Indicizzare il testo (caratteri alfanumerici) contenuto nei files,secondo filtri modificabili; - Cercare velocemente il testo indicizzato. Inoltre presenta alcune utility in qualche modo collegate alle funzioni principali che possono essere utili agli studenti o a coloro che usano il computer per lavoro: -Copie di aggiornamento di cartelle e files; -Agenda, scadenzario e dizionario personale, con ricerca possibile anche dall\'esterno tramite la funzione "Copy" di Windows; -Calcolatrice e grafico di funzioni da riga di comando; -Ritagli grafici di schermo -Lettura in inglese di testo selezionato. -Indicizzazione e archiviazione di CD (solo versione multiarchivi).Questa versione consente di creare 10 archivi. - Infine mantiene memoria delle parole del testo indicizzate in ogni documento.
