zfind Description

zfind was developed as a small, easy-to-use and very useful software tool that allows all its users to search for various types of files inside archives. zfind a fast and handy instrument that works on most common archive compressed files and allows you to quickly find what you are looking for. Apart from command line usage, it also provides API support which let's you use it in your java code as a 3rd party library. Main features: Can search within most common archive and compressed files (ZIP, JAR, TAR, WAR, EAR, GZ, TGZ, TAR.GZ, BZ2, XZ etc) Nested archives/compressed files supported (i.e. ZIP within ZIP etc) till unlimited depth (Only constrained by system resource) Normal directory search supported File name search with wildcard (i.e. foo*.bar) and regular expression pattern
