wellwasser® bluescreen is a program that can generate animated screensavers. This free application allow you to apply animated effects to static images, and create original screensavers, complete with background music. The available effects are Ripple (the image will be distorted with waves), Snow (snowflakes will fall from the upper end of the screen, and will pile up), Bubbles (that will float all around the screen) and Mystic (particles will flow everywhere). The program will allow you to set the paths where the effects will be applied, and you can check how your project is going by previewing it. This way you can adjust the parameters to achieve your desired result. In the "Additional Settings" section you can add music to your screensaver, as well as set the background size and color and framerate. The program will allow you to save your projects files, but you will not be able to build independent .scr files that you can use in other computers.
