priPrinter Description

priPrinter is intended to convert any type of document into PDF format, provided the source application supports printing. The tool works by installing a virtual printer, which becomes accessible through the Print command. Although it is true that there are many virtual PDF printers available out there, priPrinter has the convenience of letting users retouch the document before actually saving it to disk. In this regard, the application lets you preview the documents in WYSIWYG mode and make the necessary adjustments. Luckily, there is a 3D preview mode to help you get a real idea of what a double sided document will look like. Moreover, you can easily arrange pages and delete the unnecessary ones. Not only that, it is also allowed to include watermarks and even make some corrections to the text itself, which only a few tools support. Likewise, priPrinter lets you configure the output format by setting page size, orientation, margins and so on. Fortunately, you can save frequent layouts and settings and spare the effort of doing the same over and over again. By the way, it is also an absolute advantage of this product that you can automate actions by writing your own scripts. Finally, once you are done with the adjustment, you can send the document to a printer, and it does not matter whether it is a real printer or a virtual one. To conclude, priPrinter is a good choice when you need to create PDF documents and gain full control of the way they will look on paper. It is not a fully-featured PDF editor. Therefore, it has some limitations as to creating and editing documents. Besides, it does not support processing batches of documents. The tool is free to try but leaves an unpleasant stamp on every page. It has three editions: Standard, Professional, and Server. Although its price is definitely reasonable, you should know that some virtual PDF printers are available at no cost. Pedro Castro Editor rating:
