pageLogger Description

pageLogger was made on basis of the standard technologies PHP and mySQL. To guarantee flawless operating, a PHP installation from version 4.1 with installed GD-Lib and PNG support are required as well as a MySQL-database from version 3.23.45. The more currently the MySQL-Version is, the faster and more efficiently works pageLogger. For an optimum performance a MySQL database up from version 4.0 is recommended. As servers, Unix and Windows systems are supported. To guarantee the full feature circumference, the server should be able to execute the system() command and must be able to connect to other servers. If this is not the case, the functions Whois and Traceroute will not work. However, all the other features are available without limitation. Please note that on your server either the Zend Optimizer or the ionCube Loader must be installed and running. If this should not be the case, a suitable error message with continuing links is given. For the ionCube Loader it might be necessary to add an entry in the php.ini. For more information about Zend and ioncube, please refer to the corresponding homepages. Requirements: · For basic features: PHP 4.1 or greater with GD Lib and PNG support installed. MySQL 3.23.45 or greater · For the determination of the transfer volume: One of the following features must be activated: allow_url_fopen, curl or the PHP function fsockopen() · Use of the internal traceroute feature: The system command traceroute must be allowed · Use of the internal whois feature: The PHP function fsockopen() and outgoing connections on PORT 43 must be allowed · On Windows servers: Ioncube loader or Zend-Optimizer have to be installed. Further details can be found in: http://www.ioncube.com/loader_installation.php · On UNIX servers: Dynamic reloading of the ioncube loader should work flawlessly, so that no additional installation is necessary. Should it come, on this occasion, nevertheless, to problems, one must either add the loader to the php.ini (see http://www.ioncube.com/loader_installation.php) or install the Zend-Optimizer and then install the "Zend version" of pageLogger · Browser: pageLogger was tested successfully with the following browsers. pageLogger should work on other browsers, too, but can not be guaranteed. · IE from Version 5.5 · Safari from Version 1.3 with Java activated · Camino from Version 0.8.2 · Firefox from Version 1.0 · Mozilla from Version 1.3
