openadaptor Description

openadaptor is EAI software designed to allow rapid business system integration with little or no custom programming. It provides many ready-built connectors that include JMS, JDBC, IBM MQ Series, TIBCO Rendezvous, TCP/IP Sockets, SOAP, HTTP and Files.openadaptor provides exception management and scriptable components for data filtering, transformation and validation.Put simply, openadaptor is a lightweight systems integration toolkit. Taken in conjunction with a suitable Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) it is frequently used for Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tasks. Equally however, stand-alone deployments are used to connect many types of data sources and destinations, optionally filtering and modifying data as it traverses an adaptor instance. The openadaptor toolkit provides a rich set of components and the means to use them to interconnect various systems and/or middleware solutions. It is primarily configuration based, with little or no coding necessary. Typically an adaptor configuration consists of a single XML file to define the adaptor's behaviour.
