nmsBuilder Description

The first release of the MAF-based application, called NMSBuilder, is now available. This is one of the software tools that in the NMS Physiome project will be used to build a complete tool chain for the musculo-skeletal lower limb dynamic simulation from medical images. One of the aim of the NMS Physiome project is to create a complete software tool chain which will allow researchers to build and simulate starting from the medical images the dynamic of the musculo-skeletal lower limb. To achieve this goals three open-source software will be integrated: - a MAF-based application, NMSBuilder, to pre and post process the data - OpenSim for the dynamic simulation and - FEBio for the finite element modelling.
