leafFX Description

The leafFX application was designed to be a real-time digital effects unit that works (with some delay) on live input. "Disk" mode is where you are applying effects to a sound that's stored on disk in WAV format. Using this mode, you can first hear the result of applying your effects to the file, and then finalise the effect selection so that another WAV file is written out to the disk, containing the effected sample. Live mode is where the program attempts to work just like a normal effects unit; any sound coming in to the soundcard has effects applied to it, and is then reproduced from the output of the soundcard.
