iTuner Description

iTuner is a clever little app that is designed to offer you a simple means of managing your iTunes library. In order to be able to use the application, you need to have iTunes installed as it directly links to it to make any modifications. iTuner allows you to clean and fix the iTunes library in the proper sense of the words. It helps you clean albums, remove dead tracks and empty folders, as well as locate and delete duplicate files. By fixing, the application automatically imports files that are not present in the iTunes library and can download artwork that is generally available with the album. You can also export and import albums, artists and playlists in a few clicks using iTuner. With it, it’s easy to convert songs from iTunes to popular formats such as AAC, AIFF, MP3, M4A and WAV. This way, you can create entire playlists which you can use on any other player that supports the previously mentioned formats. iTuner also allows you to create backups for the tracks you have stored by transferring them to other storage mediums such as USB drives, remote computers and external storage devices in playlist formats such as M3U, ZPL, PLS and WPL. Besides the fact that iTuner offers some practical solutions for file transfer, it’s also built to be efficient. You get an on screen player that allows you to play songs from iTunes, rate and rename them, but you also get to set custom keyboard shortcuts that you can use to increase or decrease volume, switch to the next track and even show the lyrics for the song. In closing, iTuner is by all means a very handy system tray tool to have around if you want to manage tracks from iTunes and export them for use with other devices.
