As the name of this program suggests, iSkysoft Apple TV Video Converter allows you to prepare audio and video files (e.g. 3GP, MKV, FLAC, WMA, FLV, WMV) for Apple TV. But it can also convert them to common files types, such as MOV, MP4, M4A and WAV. The app is packed in a simple-to-use interface that allows the importing of items via the file browser ("drag and drop" is not supported). It is possible to create a queue and convert multiple entries at the same time. In the file queue you can view the initial and output name, estimated size, along with original and cut length (if you want to split media files) of each item. By using the default settings, you are required to set only the output profile and destination, in order to begin the conversion operation. Furthermore, you can modify audio and video properties when it comes to the frame rate, resolution, bit rate, encoder, channel mode and sampling rate. You have the possibility of creating a new profile or of restoring settings to default. Additionally, items can be cropped and trimmed. You can merge audio and video files, make image adjustments (e.g. contrast) and apply filters (e.g. emboss), as well as apply watermarks (text or image) and load subtitles. Plus, you can preview videos and capture frames (JPG or BMP), as well as set the tool to automatically turn off the computer or to open the destination folder after conversion. The "Options" section allows you to change the interface language, snapshot directory and extension, as well as set iSkysoft Apple TV Video Converter to check for updates automatically.
