iNetmon Description

iNetmon is a real time network tool used to analyze packets that are crossing an Ethernet network. It performs data collection on a LAN segment and analyzes it in real time. The workstation/client, which is running an iNetmon application, can monitor all the traffic flow within the network without disturbing the network at all. It provides tools for technical analysis and performance tuning of the network. iNetmon can presents the network bandwidth utilization in the form of graph. This feature provides a more user friendly interface to analyze and understand the situation of the network. The graph enables the user to determine the users of the LAN and who causes heavy traffic. The different modules: Network Statistics, Network analyzer, Network address book, suspicious activities monitoring, Network trace and iNetmon reporting. (iNetmon won several awards: finalist for PIKOM?s IT Product Award and Gold medalist for Science and Technology Expo 2002, finalist for Best Security System Applications MSC-APICTA 2003 Award and Award for Excellence for IPV6 Appli-contest 2003 conducted but Ipv6 Promotion Council of Japan.
