eLecture Server Description

eLecture is a turnkey virtual classroom software product based on Unreal Media and Live servers, allowing conducting live interactive lectures over the network, with students attending the lectures virtually. The eLecture satisfies a wide range of purposes from corporate training to school and university distance education. The eLecture allows broadcasting near real time audio and video from lecturer's camera as well as screen capture of lecturer's desktop. Students can submit feedback, post questions and receive answers in text chat mode in real time. eLecture Server includes Administration Console allowing lecturer or administrator managing lectures, lecturers and students. The eLecture Server also includes Unreal Media and Archival servers for broadcasting and recording purposes. The server allows you to run multiple lectures concurrently and comes with support for a large number of concurrent users. The accompanying Media Server may require considerable bandwidth to support large numbers of users.
