cwTool Description

cwTool is a feather-light and portable piece of kit that parses CDMA Workshop NV Item reads to remove plain text as well as BIN dumps to locate SPCs. It does not come equipped with complex features or configuration parameters, making it accessible to all types of users, even those less experienced.Portability perksSince installation is not prerequisite, you can save the app directory to any location on the hard disk and just click the executable to launch cwTool. Another option is to save it to a USB flash disk, carry it everywhere easily and run it on any PC directly, without having to install anything beforehand. Worth keeping in mind is that cwTool does not modify Windows registry settings or create extra files on the disk. Simplistic GUI with a few straightforward optionsThe interface is represented by a small window with a neatly organized structure that shows all available options. In order to remove text from NV item reads (ASCII HEX remains), all you have to do is indicate the file, and the same rule applies to locating PSCs. Results are shown in the main frame. Plus, it is possible to convert MEID/ESN items. There are no other notable options available here. Evaluation and conclusionThe tool does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. It has a good response time to commands and works smoothly, without triggering Windows to hang, crash or display error notifications.
