So, the decoder is very suitable for DVB-T, DVB-S and internet streaming applications.The bitcontrol MPEG decoder is capable of real-time decoding of MPEG-2 video bitstreams of all profiles and all levels up to High Levels with 80 Mbps, including 4:2:2 chroma format, e.g. for Main Profile Main Level,. The decoder is compatible with ISO/IEC13818-2 (MPEG-2 video) and ISO/IEC 11172-2 (MPEG-1 video) standards. Most of the standard requirements are implemented, except minor usual features, e.g. except for the scalable mode features "Spatial" and "SNR" and except for 4:4:4.The bitcontrol MPEG Audio Decoder supports the audio formats LPCM and MPEG-1 Layer 1/2.
