Editor's review: This tool helps access multiple computers and control them. BinTree Multiple Remote Desktop helps you to view and control more than one computer. It will be a nice tool for a system administrator to look at different machines and administer them. It will be useful in lab settings in educational institutions too. Each of the machines to be controlled will have a client software installed. The administrator’s machine has a control center that lets you view the individual machines. These machines are listed on the left of the interface. When the control center is opened, the network is searched and clients listed. Clicking on each lets you view the details of that particular client. The interface looks simple. However, the icons are still in Chinese. It is not clear if English version is available. The operating dialogs are in English though. It is possible not only to view the client but to control it. You can send files to it too. System upgrades and maintenance can be carried out quite easily by the administrator. You can have multiple client screens open at a time to view what’s happening on them. The tool seems to have limited functionality. The difficulty with the interface icons being in Chinese could stop many from venturing to try it. However, if it is these functionalities are what you need, this tool could be adequate for your use. Whether that is true could best be found out by trying it out in your exact situation.
