Xion is a very customizable, portable, free audio player. Developed by r2 Studios - a company which has developed a lot of efficient and free software tools - this audio player can easily become your favorite. It is portable, given the minimum hard drive space it requires (just about 4.5 Mb), and the installer weights only 2.8 Mb - meaning that you can carry it in the smallest memory stick - and it does not require any connection to the Internet. Adding to that, Xion audio player is very customizable, given that it has been specifically built to allow for easily changing skins. You can switch to a new skin for your Xion player in less than 2 minutes (definitely it will take you longer to choose one than to install it). Xion has all the features of a regular music player - it supports ID3 tags, comes with shuffle and repeat options, equalizer and supports different playlist formats (3U, PLS, and WPL). It will play, among others, the following audio formats: AAC, AC3, APE, ASF, CDA, FLAC, MIDI, MOD, MP2, MP3, MP4, Ogg, WAV, and WMA. It does not require any programming expertise on your part, but it is not as intuitive as some other audio players when it comes to fully customize it to your taste.
