Xenocide is a game where you will have to defend the Earth from aliens. You can choose where on the Earth you would like to build bases with facilities for the soldiers, equipment and ammo. You will be also responsible for administering your funds to keep things going. As alien UFOs are detected, you can choose to intercept them, and you will need to fight against them. During the battles you will lose men and ammo, but if you win you will have more money to buy more equipment, or build new bases. You can check how you are doing your job by looking at the detailed statistics that the program shows about every aspect of the game. Playing this game is more like managing a company than killing aliens. You will never see them, or their ships. You will just see red rays and green bases on an Earth map. The program will show you models of the weapons that you can buy and use, but you will never see a single shot, just statistics. The development of this program has been discontinued in August, 2010.
