WordFinder Description

WordFinder was designed to be a general dictionary search program aimed at people who play word games such as Scrabble, Networdz, Boggle or crosswords.WordFinder is a general dictionary search program aimed at word game players. The program was originally devised to provide a way of exposing a PC Scrabble player (ie me) to a much greater range of words than would be encountered in a normal game. The somewhat vain hope behind this was the thought that seeing these words enough times while playing on a PC would make them stick in the brain! The aim is to make this the ultimate word search program to suit all needs, it is unlikely that this version is it!It provides the facility to search for:· Anagrams · Matching Patterns · Words containing certain letters · All words which can be made from certain letters · Words with predominantly vowels or consonants · Words which contain a 'Q' not followed by a 'U' The latest SOWPODS dictionary with the option to select US only (OSPD), UK only (OSW) or both dictionaries is included.
