Wondershare Player is a user-friendly application aimed at allowing you to easily play any file you want, of virtually all formats, such as MPEG1/2 and 4, Apple, 3GP, Windows or Flash media. This intuitive player is fairly simple to work with, providing you with the option of launching it directly, or from the context menu, when right-clicking a media file. Wondershare Player allows you to add files or even folders of songs and videos, that you can play in a loop, randomly, or on repeat. The application even lets you open DVD movies, rendering them with great quality. The numerous 'Play' functions allow you to stop, pause, forward or rewind your media file, but also accelerate or decelerate its speed. With Wondershare Player, you can deinterlace your video, for a clearer picture. In addition, you can rotate the image vertically or horizontally, or right and left for 90 degrees. Moreover, this utility allows you to load subtitles when watching a movie, as well as lip sync the audio with the video, particularly useful in the case of delays. The 'Snapshot' feature enables you to grab single or serial photos of the movie in the main window, saving the image to a PNG format as well as copying it to clipboard, so that you can quickly paste it in a file or email, or simply use it as a desktop background for instance. While the application works quite well, it only offers the basic media player functions. You do not, for instance, have the possibility of adjusting the brightness or contrast of a playing video. Wondershare Player is a handy and approachable piece of software, useful particularly if your movie watching requirements are within normal boundaries, its main feature being the ability to play a wide range of media formats.
