WiredBot IRC Bot Description

WiredBot IRC Bot is a handy tool that allows you to connect to a server and to send text messages using the IRC protocol. The program is designed to stay on a channel, to welcome the new chat users and to send messages automatically. You can use the program to connect to a certain server using the IRC protocol by specifying the server address. The application allows you to specify the user name to be used on the connected channels. The user name can also be changed while connected to a channel. Although it can connect to multiple channels at the same time, the program displays the conversation in a single window. You can run multiple instances of the application but that takes more resources and can lead to connection loss on some of the instances. The program allows you to create a set of phrases to be used on the chat as automatic messages. Unfortunately, the program does not provide the means or the documentation required for configuring the frequency of the messages or for creating scripts. In our tests, enabling the Notepod option caused the program to freeze without sending any message to the chat room. The interface of the program is easy to use and can be learned in just a few minutes by any computer user. It does not have an impact on the computer performance and requires insignificant resources even when running multiple instances.
