It packs a simplistic and clean interface that can be mastered even by rookies. Unfortunately, you cannot drag and drop the files directly into the main window of the program, so you should use the built-in browse function. Windows Media Playlist Generator doesn’t give users the possibility of selecting the files individually, as they are only allowed to pick an entire folder. Hence, before proceeding with the generating process, you should make sure the folder you want to upload to the list contains the exact audio files you need. You can add a playlist title and make the application include subfolders. Furthermore, the program enables users to select the file types: all media files, or only audio, video or MP3 files. In order to create the playlist, you are required to specify the saving directory. By default, the application saves the playlist to WPL file format. Since there aren’t many configuration settings, even a rookie can make the most out of every single built-in feature. During our testing we have noticed that the program is able to create a playlist quickly and without errors throughout the entire process.
