WinWakeUp Description

WinWakeUp is a simple and small utility that resumes your system from stand by mode at a user specified time. WinWakeUp is a little freeware program designed to "wake up" your system, when it is in suspend or stand by mode, at a specified time. It can be used, for example, when you have a program (eg. VCR capture) that needs to run automatically at a point, but you don't want your PC to run until that time, instead you can use WinWakeUp and suspend your PC. WinWakeUp is designed to run on Win'2000/XP and hereby doesn't on Windows'95, however, it limitedly runs on Windows'98/ME but without system-tray support. When you start WinWakeUp you will see a taskbar icon. This icon will have been seen by the time WinWakeUp wakes up your system. WinWakeUp doesn't show any dialogs because it would require user action, which would prohibit automatic (batch) usage.
