Editor's review: A tool that monitors internet activity and records each and every website visited from a particular computer. Pros: The Wibsite Spy Monitor actively monitors all internet activity from a user’s computer to record a trace of all websites that have been visited. The recorded information records the website along with a timestamp and who (windows username) accessed the given website. Task schedules can be set automatically, including having the program start logging at system start-up time. The configuration wizard makes these scheduling tasks quick and easy. It supports a number of different web browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, AOL Explorer, Avant, Maxthon, NetCaptor, SlimBrowser, and more. Programs such as Winamp and Windows Media Player which access Internet websites are also supported and the activity recorded. Logging reports can be exported to HTML, uploaded to a FTP server as well as sent to a user specified email address. The program can be run in Stealth / Invisible mode. Cons: This kind of software can be easily misused. Apart from this and other privacy concerns there is also the fact that this software features a poor interface. Besides the recording of websites that have been visited, it does not do much. Report delivery is the most advanced function and there are issues with making it work as desired. The limitation of the interface is that it does not readily present this information in a readable manner and making additional modifications to the recording format is difficult and in fact may not be possible at all. Preconfigured log formats are available but do not provide enough options for the user trying to view logs. Overall: 3 stars. It does a good job of recording the websites that have been visited.
