With Web Photo Album you`ll see how your album looks and feels in real time, before it is saved to the hard drive or published on the web. The package allows publishing of the album on a free album publishing and sharing site. The publish button takes care of the upload hassle too. For the first time user of the photo service, registration formalities are completed in the same dialog process. If you’d rather keep it privately stored on your hard disk, that too is possible. Simply store it in a folder. One could operate through the icons on the top of the screen or via the menus on the top or by a mix of controls through the icons/menu items. Sharing of the link can be through e-mail, IM messages or blogs. HTML or UBB code to generate the links in the blogs or website is generated. One needs to simply copy and paste the code snippets at an appropriate place on the blog/website. The package has a large collection of professional designs, ability to adjust thumb and picture size to three different standard sizes. One could organize subfolders for accurately arrange multiple images within one album, high quality thumbnails etc. Cons: Header and footer text comes out to be too small hardly visible even on the website. One could set these headers and footers through the “Advanced” option. Surprisingly there’s only this header and footer option under that category. There are not many options for customization available. One would expect choices in text size, color, font as a minimum. Overall this package certainly deserves a 4 star rating.
