Watcher is a passive threat analyzer for HTTP based web applications. This program scans any activity of web browser applications and is very helpful to test and find security issues. It records all the activities and colors those that need attention and further analysis. This program is a plug-in for the Fiddler tool, so when installing Watcher, Fiddler is also required to be installed in your PC. During the Watcher installation a couple of scripts and a new tab will be installed into the Fiddler program. The Watcher Checks Tab contains a list of security web events. Theу list provides you with short descriptions of the events. Users can enable or disable all events, or choose just specific events to be tracked. The program displays the gathered information on the Results Tab. In each record it will show the description of the event, its source and the level of threat. This plug-in provides the Fiddler tool with the functionality to export the information to files in HTML or XML format.
