WAV Cutter Description

WAV Cutter is a small software utility designed with one goal in mind: to help users cut WAV files in the easiest way possible. It sports a clean and simple interface that offers quick access to all its main functions. Unfortunately, you cannot drag and drop the audio files directly into the primary panel, so you have to use the built-in browse button instead. WAV Cutter features an audio player which allows users to skip to a selected audio stream, play or stop the current audio selection, and adjust the volume. Basically, it’s extremely easy to work with this tool, as it enables you to pick a start and end selection of the audio file. In order to carry out the cutting process, you are required to specify a saving directory, and give a file name. By default, the audio files are saved to the same output format as the original, namely WAV. As the name of the application suggests, this tool was created from the ground up to cut only WAV files, hence it doesn’t support other audio formats, such as MP3, AIFF, OGG and FLAC. Since it doesn’t bundle many configuration settings to tinker with, even a rookie can make the most out of every single-built in feature. During our testing we have noticed that the program is able to cut audio files extremely quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It remains light on the system resources, so it doesn’t affect the overall performance of the computer. All things considered, WAV Cutter is a small but powerful application that allows users to cut WAV files on the fly. Although it packs only a few dedicated parameters for helping you cut files, it offers excellent output results, making it an ideal tool for beginners and experts alike.
