ViceVersa Plus Description

ViceVersa features three methods of file comparison: CRC32, timestamps and/or both together. The choice of which method to use depends on the task at hand. It's hard to keep all the PCs current with the latest files and data. Documents, databases, spreadsheets, these all could be changed several times a day. ViceVersa is the tool that solves this problem. Select source and target folder. Click "compare". ViceVersa will show you which files are matched, single, newer or older, and then you can decide what to do e.g. which files to copy where, how to synchronize, what to remove. A common task for people working with CD creation is the verification that the image mastered on the CD is the same as the source. A tool which can compare files down to the byte level is required. ViceVersa offers the Cyclical Redundancy Check comparison. With ViceVersa you can determine if even one byte of data differs and make your CD copies secure. You can create a copy of your important folders to a separate location, e.g. hard drive, computer, ZIP disk, etc. After the initial mirroring, every time you will synchronize the two folders only newer files will be copied over, so that backups are as fast as lightening.
