VeeCAD Description

Like a PCB layout program, VeeCAD takes a schematic generated netlist and assists you to build a layout - but on stripboard (Veroboard). The usual design tools are provided: netlist import, component footprint definition, component positioning, wiring and connectivity check. Engineers and hobbyists use VeeCAD for prototypes and small quantity builds, saving hours planning layouts on graph paper. The VeeCAD applicaiton will make stripboard practical where otherwise a PCB is required. Draw the schematic in your usual schematic editor, and after prototyping in VeeCAD use the same schematic with your PCB editor. Main features: Easily define component outlines. Move, rotate components, stretch wired components to fit layout. Add and resize (wire) links. Add wiring points to interconnect nets. Check network connectivity. Import components and nets from Schematic editors like Protel, Target3000, MultiSim7. Store component outlines in library files for attachment to components during netlist import. Move, rotate component text. Edit with Windows standard controls. Undo-redo.
