VVPhoto Description

VVPhoto is an application that enables you to view and edit image files in a user-friendly environment. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level. The interface of the program is plain and very simple to work with. Pictures can be imported by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. So, you can use tools for rectangle or ellipse selection, zoom in and out, fit image to screen and change the color mode. Furthermore, you can rotate and resize pictures or convert them to grayscale, add edges and make adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma). But you can also correct the histogram, apply filters (e.g. Gaussian smooth, sharpen, dilate) and effects (e.g. mirror, emboss, stripe, cone), add a photo frame and timestamp, switch to batch conversion mode (effect, format, color), set image and wallpaper, make file associations, take screenshots, and more. The image editing application requires a low amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file (too bad it doesn't have snapshots), has a very good response time and didn't cause us any difficulties during our tests.
