VTK Export for Alibre Design Description

VTK Export for Alibre Design is a (.vtk) file export add-in developed for Alibre Design. This add-on gives Alibre Design the ability to export geometric data from Alibre Design to ASCII and Binary VTK files. VTK Export for Alibre Design tessellates solid bodies in a Alibre Design document into a set of triangular meshes. These meshes are then exported to a VTK file as mesh objects. The VTK file can then be imported into a variety of CAD applications. VTK Export for Alibre Design is very easy to use. It adds new commands to Alibre Design. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into Alibre Design and adds a new submenu called "VTKExport" to the Alibre Design menu containing these newly added commands.
