VRML97/X3D Export Plug-In is a plugin designed for 3D Studio Max with the purpose of exporting 3D objects to VRML97 format. It offers the possibility to extract the models without the need to tweak them in order to obtain a higher quality output. Moreover, the plugin also uses a moderated amount of system resources which makes it stable and less likely to cause 3ds Max to crash. VRML97/X3D Export Plug-In features support for global light-level and tint, general lighting parameters, environment backgrounds, scaling to VRML units, DEFs / USEs appearance nodes, CreaseAngle and context sensitive help for all Export Dialog controls. Using this plugin you are able to create various effects when it comes to lighting mainly due to the fact that the controls for General Lighting Parameters function as they should. Parameters for Spotlight can now be set correctly along with Export of Attenuation settings. Moreover, decay settings can be exported and characteristics for global light level and tint can be applied to lights.
