Editor's review: This is a SIP softphone application that is highly customizable. It lets a customized SIP softphone solution to be quickly built up. This software lets you build a softphone that can integrate with SIP based gateway or SIP compliant IP-Telephony service provider. This product then affords a quick and easy way to offer a VoIP based telephony solution or some value added service products. These could be free standing telephony solutions or a part of some other solution offering. Voice call related features offered include line hold/unhold, cal forwarding, call rejection, call transfer, speaker mute, auto answer, DND (do not disturb), DTMF tone signaling support, recoding/play of voice calls etc. Other features that help implementation of voice/video communication solutions include multi-party voice conference support/conference split and join, locally mixed conferences, multi-line support and SIP instant/chat messaging with send/receive controls. That is a range of features that will help the application look and behave like a typical phone system. On the other side, internally, following of several standards and measures related to peculiarities of VoIP make this a good base to build your solution on. Audio inputs can be processed through a choice of standard codecs that include G711 A-Law, G711 U-Law, Speex, Speex-wb, GSM6.10, iLBC, L16 and G729 and G723 Codec. That covers most of the audio companding needs. Packet lost concealment, auto gain controller, echo cancellation or suppression, noise cancellation and suppression are some system related measures for specific telephony type use.
